Federation of Community Legal Centres
The Federation is the peak body for 51 Victorian community legal centres (CLCs) that provide free legal services to the public. We help clients who face economic and social disadvantage and have nowhere else to go.
Fitzroy Legal Service
Fitzroy Legal Service (FLS) is one of the oldest community legal centres in Australia, opening in 1972. FLS provides casework to clients in our catchment area and plays a significant role in the areas of law reform and community legal education, which is closely bound up with the practice of preventative law, demystification of the law, self-help and empowerment. FLS also has a long history of running public interest cases. The experiences from the casework practice inform the law reform and community legal education activities of the organisation.
Flemington and Kensington Community Legal Centre
Flemington and Kensington Community Legal Centre (FKCLC) commenced in 1980. The Centre has a history of working closely with its community to address legal issues of concern.
Footscray Community Legal Centre
The Footscray Community Legal Centre is a community organisation that provides free legal assistance and financial counselling for the benefit of people who live, work or study in the City of Maribyrnong. Some of our services are available for people who live outside the City of Maribyrnong.
